A busy weekend.

I’m back. After what has seemed a very long, sleepless day – the weekend is over and I’m hoping to get back into a routine. I haven’t blogged for a while either. It’s just been one of those hectic weeks. Apologies!

As some of you know from my previous post, my little daughter B has been going through a patch of bad sleep. I’ve been a walking zombie. Literally grabbing whatever naps I can, even though she is only sleeping for short periods – but she’s also full of a terrible cold which I think is causing her some problems sleeping too. I wish just I could take away all her problems and let her have a lovely, refreshing sleep! I wouldn’t mind a good night of solid kip either. But she has learnt how to point and frequently has chats with her toys, pointing at them in her demanding manner when they aren’t cooperating.

On top of that, my sister had a baby yesterday! A bouncing baby boy. It’s fabulous news and after the awful weekend of terrible events in regards to Paris, it’s just the little ray of hope and smiles we needed. All weekend I’ve been looking after my own daughter and my two nephews. All under 6 years old. As a first time mum, you can imagine what my house and hair looked like. I appauld anyone who has more than one child and makes it through the day alive.  I loved it though. Family is everything. There’s nothing more pleasing than seeing my daughter play alongside her big cousins, we had lots of fun painting and making a mess.  I’m currently at my sisters house with my little B and nephew, waiting to see if my sister is going to be discharged and I can meet my new nephew R.

Good news, kind of. If you’ve read any of my previous posts, you might be aware we have to find a new home. And…..we are viewing a house tomorrow morning, close to my partners parents and brothers. It’s a three bedroom (so an extra bedroom than I have now) and the same rent as we pay now. It’s perfect for long term as we have that extra bedroom for if we choose to have another baby, saving having to go through this moving process again. I’ll keep you all updated and might even share a view snaps from the viewing. I also have a meeting with a housing agency in the afternoon, it’s nice to have options now and be getting slightly more  organised with this.

So that’s it. A bit of a shorter, unorganised blog post but a post none the less. I’ll be back posting from tomorrow, with something more interesting….in my opinion!

Keep Calm and Carry On Linking Sunday
